Choo Gim Wah Architect is an innovative, and design-driven practice established to
provide architectural, and professional construction related services.
The practice is driven by the pursuit of quality design, and sensitivity to the climate of the environment.
Every small element of the building is of importance to us as we firmly believe in providing quality
design details which are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The principal, Choo Gim Wah, holds an Architecture Master Degree from Miami University.
He is a a member of Malaysia Institute of Architects (PAM), and Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).
Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, Choo is an accomplished architect with extensive design experience
in private residential, commercial buildings, and mixed-use developments. He had successfully implemented many
private residential on hill slopes and steep terrains with minimum disturbance to the natural landscapes.
Choo participated in many dialogues with various local authorities including the Ministry of Housing and
Local Government where he was a member of the Technical Working Committe. He assisted the ministry to prepare
'Guidelines on Buildings Requirements for the Disabled Persons'.
Choo is also an active speaker in Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), and other institutions.
He has conducted many design workshops for these institutions including workshops on
design requirements for the disabled persons.
